Paramount Studios has brought you movies such as Beverly Hills Cop, Forrest Gump, Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Godfather. When you join in on the Paramount Studios tour, you can go behind the scenes and learn more about the movie magic that occurs behind screen. There are three different tours that you can sign up for. Each will give you different information on the studio that is in large part responsible for Hollywood’s golden age. The Studio Tour is 2 hours long and is a cart tour that takes you around the studio. The tour is given daily and is available both in the morning and in the afternoon. During your tour, you will also learn about the history of the studio while visiting iconic locations at the studio such as the Prop Warehouse, the New York Street backlot, and the Bronson Gate.
On the VIP tour, you will receive special access to private areas of the studio. For example, guests on the VIP tour will able to learn more about the special effects used at the studio, the sign shop, and sound stages. Guests will also be able to gain access to special props that are not shown to everyone. As part of the VIP tour, you will also be able to enjoy hors devours or a gourmet lunch. The VIP tour is a 4 ½ cart tour that features a personalized souvenir photo, complimentary catered meal, VIP access to archives and more!
The After Dark Tour is a 2 ½ walking tour that is available on weekend evenings. During the tour, you’ll be treated to complimentary champagne along with some movie popcorn and candy. You’ll walk through the moonlit streets at the backlot and travel to exclusive areas at the studio that are closed to the general public. Travel through the sound stages and lose yourself in the vintage film vaults. This tour is open to those 12 years and older.
