The California Science Center is always bringing in new exhibits to inspire the minds of guests. One of the latest exhibits at the Science Center is The Science Behind Pixar exhibition. This unique exhibit will allow guests to get a behind the scenes look at the making of some of your favorite Pixar movies! Bring the whole family for some engaging fun. The Science Behind Pixar Exhibition will be at the Science Center from October 15th through December 31st.
Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and Monsters Inc. are just some of the classic Pixar movies that you can learn more about while at this exhibit. This exhibit will be an interactive playground where families can learn more about the engineering, math, technology and science concepts that go into making the Pixar movies that you know and love. At this limited time exhibit, you and your family can enjoy over 40 interactive displays that have been divided into eight sections. Each section focuses on the different filmmaking elements that go into making a movie. You will get a behind the scenes look at all the different production processes that take place when creating a movie! In addition to engaging in these fun and interactive activities, you can even come face to face with life size recreations of some of your favorite characters from Pixar movies. These include Mike and Sulley, Dory, Buzz Lightyear, Wall E and Edna Mode.
Due to the expected popularity of this exhibit, it is recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance. In addition, due to the popularity, tickets give you access to the access for a specified amount of time. This way, more people will be able to enjoy the exhibit. The first entry time begins at 10am and the last entry time is at 3:30pm.
