When staying in Los Angeles, there are so many things to do around la, it can be hard to figure out where to start. One thing that you should consider doing, especially during the Halloween season, is to visit Disneyland. Check out all the exciting things you can enjoy when you visit Disneyland during Halloween.
One exciting aspect of halloween time at Disneyland is the annual Mickey’s Halloween Party. At this frightfully fun event, your family can dress up in costumes and go trick or treating at various locations in the park. Enjoy candy and healthy treats as well. In addition to the trick or treating, enjoy a special fireworks display, a parade featuring Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas and more. These festive events are only available to Mickey’s Halloween Party guests. These tickets are in addition to the general admission and must be purchased separately.
Even if you don’t attend Mickey’s Halloween Party, there is still much to explore and things to do at Disneyland during Halloween Time. For starters, the entire park is fantastically decorated in Halloween decorations including a number of hand carved pumpkins all along Main Street. Also at Main Street is a huge Mickey Mouse pumpkin that is perfect for photo opportunities. Be sure to stop by the Haunted Mansion attraction as during the season it turns into the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction, specially redecorated in a “Nightmare Before Christmas” fashion. During the ride, you will also see characters from the movie such as Jack Skellington, his ghost dog Zero and Sally. Space Mountain is also transformed for the Holiday season to Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy. As you travel through the ride, explore through spooky projections, special effects and halloween themed music. Stop by Rancho del Zocalo restaurant at Frontierland and take in all the beautiful decorations that honor Dia de Los Muertos, or day of the dead.
